The formal opening of the Johannes Klein Training Room on February 11, 2026, marked another strong step forward for Don Bosco One TVET Philippines and the KSB Foundation of Germany. Although the facility was initially introduced in mid-2025, its inauguration signaled the deepening of a partnership focused on equipping Bosconians with relevant, industry-ready skills. The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Jerry Santos, SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Makati, and gathered leaders from DB1TVET and KSB Foundation, together with students and educators. The event was graced by His Excellency, Andreas Michael Pfaffernoschke, the German Ambassador to the Philippines, and Fr. Ronilo Javines, SDB, Provincial Superior of the Salesians of Don Bosco–Philippine North Province. Reflections from Fr. Dindo Vitug, SDB, and Mr. Gerhard Bugla underscored the shared responsibility of institutions and partners in preparing young people for meaningful work.
Beyond the inauguration, the training room represents a long-term investment in accessible, high-quality skills development. With modern learning tools and globally aligned training programs, Bosconians are better positioned to meet employer standards and adapt to changing workforce demands. The initiative reinforces DB1TVET’s mission to connect education with real-world opportunities, ensuring that graduates are not only trained, but truly work-ready.
