On May 14, 2026, KSB Stiftung and Don Bosco-One TVET Philippines, Inc. (DB1TVET) marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the new Fitter-Machinist training shop at Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati, Inc. The event symbolized the continued commitment of both organizations to strengthening technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and creating more opportunities for Filipino youth to acquire industry-relevant skills.
The renovation project, made possible through the support of KSB Stiftung, aims to enhance the learning environment and provide students with access to modern training facilities that reflect current industry standards. Once completed, the upgraded shop will help equip future technicians and machinists with the practical competencies needed to meet the evolving demands of the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
More than an infrastructure project, the initiative reflects the shared vision of KSB Stiftung and DB1TVET to invest in quality education and workforce development. Through strong partnerships and sustained support for skills training, both organizations continue to contribute to building a highly skilled, competitive, and future-ready Filipino workforce.
