DB Tech ASEAN’s Philippines and Cambodia Developing TVET Portable Training

Cambodian Delegates of Don Bosco Tech ASEAN visit Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati for the TVET Mobile/Portable Training Program together with the Salesian Delegate of Don Bosco Cambodia Fr. Roel Reyes Soto, SDB.

They were welcomed by Don Bosco Tech ASEAN’s Executive Council Coordinator, Fr. Jose Dindo Vitug, SDB. Mr. Johnnie P. Santos facilitated the training as he discussed the Mobile/Portable Training Program Development.

They were immersed in establishing TVET Mobile/Portable Training Program allowing them to gain new skills and knowledge to provide accessible education and skills training for students who may not have access to the traditional training centers and with modern technologies.

Mobile learning can help improve the reach and impact of our skills training and technical programs as it will allow us to reach larger and more diverse students, including those who are working at the same time. They also had a tour inside the Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati to see its top-notch facilities, which enable our students to pursue their dreams and make Don Bosco-One TVET Centers the best in the Philippines for providing technical-vocational programs with cutting-edge infrastructure.

The Don Bosco Tech ASEAN Community is extremely grateful to all Cambodian delegates who traveled to the Philippines to continue their Salesian educational mission and provide a brighter future to the youth. The program was organized by Mr. Mark Carlos Tito Gumapon, the Managing Director of Don Bosco Tech ASEAN’s Central Office.
