Dream turns to reality
Before I went to Don Bosco, I was already working to help my family because my parents also needed help with our daily expenses. But we suffered, even more, when Hurricane Yolanda hit. But God was so good because he gave me hope to give me a better future. And that’s when I met Don Bosco who became the bridge to reach my dream. While I was studying at Don Bosco I did not waste time. I learn how to get along with people, be patient, and above all have fear in God. Although I have many trials while I am studying, I make it an inspiration to work harder to study. And all my hardships were paid off because I had received awards on our graduation day. But what I didn’t expect was that I was one of the lucky people chosen by the Anglo-Eastern shipping company as a trainee. Now I am a full-time fitter machinist and have boarded the ship many times. I have already bought land and a house that is now under construction. And I also help my family and siblings who are studying in college. Truly nothing is impossible to the person who has dreams and perseverance in life. Many thanks to everyone who makes up the Don Bosco Family. God bless us all.
