The National Industry Forum 2023
Don Bosco One-TVET Philippines, Inc. hosted the National Industry Forum last December 1, 2023, at Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati.
A momentous event that convened eminent delegates from various organizations that will help in the advancement of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs throughout the Philippines. The main purpose of the forum was to enable a constructive exchange between academia and industry, enhancing a better comprehension of the changing needs and expectations of the TVET industry in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The event was not only designed to address the needs of the TVET sector, but also showcased presentations and discussions by industry associations, such as the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany Manila, Philippine Constructors Association Inc., Metalworking Industries Association of the Philippines, I.T. & Business Process Association of the Philippines, Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, and Refrigeration and Airconditioning Technicians Association Philippines providing valuable perspectives on the latest industry trends and best practices in TVET.
The forum brought together lay mission partners, distinguished guests, and speakers, fostering a rich tapestry of insights and experiences. Gratitude is extended to all contributors for their valuable input and active participation.
