Strategic dialogue is the fuel for sustainable growth! Today, February 2, 2026, Don Bosco One TVET Philippines Inc. hosted a high-level visit from the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)and various international partners at the Frassati Hall, Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati.
This wasn’t just a meeting of minds; it was a technical deep-dive into the future of vocational education. Moderated by Dr. Amiel Yacon, the session featured two critical knowledge exchanges focused on long-term impact:
1. Strategic Alignment: Synchronizing institutional systems with BMZ priorities to ensure long-term resilience and global sustainability.
2. Financial Sustainability: Identifying robust financing mechanisms that empower private TVET providers to maintain high-quality training standards independently.
Fr. Dindo Vitug,SDB, presented a summary of Phases 1-3 and the Phase 4 strategic direction for the network, while we were privileged to gain invaluable insights from DepEd Secretary Hon. Sonny Angara on public-private partnerships and Kristina Silan of AHK on sustaining cross-sectoral collaboration. Their shared expertise during this exchange underscored a unified commitment to enhancing system resilience and securing a sustainable future for technical-vocational education.
A massive thank you to our attendees— Don Bosco Mondo, German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., DepEd Philippines, KSB Foundation, AWO, DGRV, DGB BW, Caritas international, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, The Sisters of Mary School – Philippines, the German Red Cross (DRK), and all our international colleagues—for being the driving forces of this mission. By blending global best practices with local agility, we are redefining what it means to empower the Filipino workforce.
