Transformation of ASEAN Countries to Industrial Revolution 4.0 through TVET

The 4th Industrial Revolution or IR 4.0 originates from the German Government industrial evolution strategy which starts last 2013. Its primary aims is to automate and digitalize all manufacturing process thru Lean Automation, Smart Manufacturing and Smart Factory Set-up thru the use of Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Computing and Cyber Physical Interconnection.
The Thai-German Institute (TGI) develop a simulator of a Smart Factory that is fully automated from Customer Ordering, Manufacturing Process, Quality Assurance to Product Delivery. The Smart factory is a joint project of Thailand and German government to spearhead the upgrading to Industrial Revolution 4.0.
